Her delighted reaction came after the Scorchers, competing in their first-ever appearance at the continental showpiece, secured a second successive victory, thrashing Egypt 3-1 to sit top of Group C — following their earlier stunning win over defending champions Nigeria.
The First Lady, a vocal and passionate supporter of the team, took to social media to gush over the squad's achievements, insisting their performances had proven that anything is possible when talent meets hard work.
