Malawi's leading alcoholic beverage producer has unveiled its biggest-ever promotion, slashing prices on popular beers and dangling the keys to a brand new pickup truck in front of thrilled customers, as the festive season approaches.

Castel Malawi Limited officially launc

hed the eye-catching 'Tikwere Ndi Wotsika Promotion' at its head office in Makata, Blantyre, with the company confirming the campaign will run from 5 October 2026 right through to 23 January 2027 — making it the largest promotion in the firm's entire history.

Head of Sales Mkhwachi Peter Mhango revealed the initiative was designed as a heartfelt thank-you to loyal customers, giving the company a special way to celebrate the end of the year together with the very people who keep it in business.

In a move set to delight cash-strapped consumers, Mhango confirmed the company has slashed prices on selected beers, making them significantly more affordable at a time when households across Malawi continue to battle mounting economic pressures.

But it's the dazzling prize list that's sure to grab the most attention.

The luckiest customer of all will drive away with a brand new Nissan Navara, while others stand to win motorbikes, solar light packages, caps, t-shirts and free 330ml Gin, among a host of other instant prizes up for grabs throughout the promotion.

"As a responsible company, we needed to react to the current market situation by engaging our customers in activities that are also going to give them value," Mhango said.

"Honestly, the business environment is very challenging but we still thought it wise to bring excitement to our customers and consumers because they are playing a crucial role in contributing to our growth and we believe that through this promotion, we'll help to change lives of our customers."
