Silver Strikers Ladies top NBM Women's Premiership at international break

Defending champions Silver Strikers Ladies lead the NBM Women's Premiership on nine points after three rounds, level with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women, as the league pauses for the international break.

Civil Service Women moved into third place with a 5-0 win over Chitoliro Heroines at Mpira Stadium in Blantyre on Saturday. Vitumbiko Mkandawire scored four of the goals.

Ascent Soccer Academy and Mighty Wanderers drew 3-3 at the same ground. The result leaves Ascent fourth with five points and Wanderers fifth with four.

Kukoma Ntopwa Queens recorded their first win of the season, beating Rumphi Sisters 1-0 at Rumphi Stadium. They are seventh with three points.

Rumphi Sisters and Chitoliro Heroines are the only sides without a win after three matches.

The league resumes on 17 October 2026.
