Sparc Systems Limited has been crowned ICT Company of the Year at the prestigious Technology Information Confederation (TICON) Africa 2026 Excellence Awards.
The award was presented during an exclusive Awards Gala Evening held on Thursday, September 24, alongside the 4th Annual TICON Africa Conference in Livingstone, Zambia.
TICON Africa is a Pan-African body advancing ICT, collaboration and professional standards across the continent, with its awards honouring individuals and organisations driving Africa's digital growth through visionary leadership and impactful innovation.
After a rigorous vetting and adjudication process conducted by an independent panel of judges, Sparc Systems Limited emerged victorious, distinguishing itself within a highly competitive continental field. Its Managing Director, Wisely Phiri, was also nominated as a finalist for the prestigious TICON ICT Professional of the Year Award.
The award caps off a landmark year for Sparc Systems Limited, which also saw its leadership recognised across regional industry forums and corporate awards in Southern Africa.
Reacting to the development, Senior Brand Awareness and Digital Marketing Executive at Sparc Systems Limited, Alice Satela, told Nyasa Times it felt good to be recognised in that manner, saying it was an indication that the Malawian firm was serving Africa well.
"This win is all about our clients and partners. Their trust is what drives us every day. We are beyond proud to show what passionate, home-grown African technological leadership can do," she said.
